New blog!

I was idly browsing through my Google homepage this morning, scanning RSS feeds and top news headlines, when I came across this New York Times article on our country's current energy policy. My reaction was so intense, so angry and frustrated, that I knew I needed some way to channel this response, to let the negative energy leave my person and rest elsewhere. My solution? I decided to create this blog.

I don't necessarily consider this a venting spot; that is to say, not all of my posts will be of the negative or hostile variety. I'm not looking to war against the neo-cons who run this country, nor to rail against those who would re-elect these fiends.

Instead, I'll post news articles of interest to me (on various topics), ramble on about my political leanings, share details of my life's recent events, and tell embarrassing stories about myself and my friends.

Hopefully some people will find the deep inner recesses of my mind entertaining; probably not.
